- Health Guarantee
- Our puppies are health guaranteed for
the first two years of life for all life-
threatening or debilitating genetic based
diseases. When you receive you new
baby or adult, you must take him/her to
your veterinarian for a health check
within 3 business days. If there is a
genetic problem, he/she can be returned
for a full refund if the condition is
confirmed by my vet after return.
Shipping of puppy back will be the
responsibility of the new owner but we
make every effort to only send 100%
sound puppies and will stand behind
them in that effort. There will be no
replacement for puppies injured during
delivery or after delivery or dogs over 2
years of age. We have never had one
injured or lost in transit. If you don't
notify us of the defect within 3 business
days by email or phone call, this 3 day
guarantee will be null and void.
- If a life threatening or debilitating genetic
based disease develops within the
puppies/dogs first 2 years of life and the
disease is confirmed by your vet, a
replacement can be given if the original
dog is returned to us for our
veterinarian's evaluation and
confirmation of the defect. If no defect is
found after he is returned, no
replacement will be given but you may
request the puppy be sent back to you.
- There will be no replacement if the
puppy or dog has been bred or has
produced puppies or has been
transferred to another person - whether
physically or on paper. The replacement
will be of the same variety and sex of the
original puppy and if it was a show
prospect puppy, a show prospect will be
given.
- If a show prospect puppy develops a
severe underbite or other severe fault
that makes it unsuitable for the show
ring, the new owner may return the
puppy for a replacement after
confirmation is made as to the defect by
another breeder of our choosing in your
area or proof by photos.
- If you don't wish to return the show
puppy, you may keep the puppy with
written proof of spay or neuter from your
vet with photo of the new incision and
microchip verification. You must also
return his/her AKC papers before a
replacement is given. We retain the right
to have the puppy returned to us with
his/her full papers signed back over to
us fully intact (Not spayed or neutered).
Then the replacement will be sent. If the
puppy has been bred, no replacement
will be given. The puppy should have
finished it's AKC championship and be 2
years old before breeding to keep this
guarantee intact.
- In any case, all shipping and veterinarian
charges and fees will the sole
responsibility of the buyer to get him/her
returned to us and for the replacement
dog. If we can meet within a reasonable
distance, we will be glad to do that too.
- All pet puppies go on a spay/neuter
contract and all show puppies go on a
show contract only.
- Puppies going to a country other than
the US and Canada will not have to be
returned for a replacement. You can opt
for a 50% discount on another puppy
instead if you wish with proof of
spay/neuter and registration cancellation.
