| We health test eyes and structural soundness. Any dog that is found to be "affected" with a genetic abnormality that is debilitating or life threatening will not knowingly be used for breeding. | Spirit Ranch is my vision and guided by the hand of God I had a spiritual "rebirth" while undergoing hard times in my life - including a debilitating injury which left me crippled. Unable to show for several years, I was blessed by God and given a gift through modern medicine. My epiphany came to me in a dream and now I am trying to fulfill it as I believe God would want me to. Staying on the straight and narrow and always using the *Golden Rule to apply to people. With guidance from above, Spirit Ranch became a reality and a restart (renovation) of a previously successful show program. We are small "in home" Show Breeders only. We don't breed to sell. I have owned or shown dogs since 1971 and bred and shown Cresteds since 1991. Our goal is to strive toward an ever more wonderful disposition and health (physically and emotionally) in our Chinese Cresteds. We use sound conformation selection using the AKC breed standard when breeding. And sticking strictly to record keeping, dna profiling and microchipping to abide by the AKC breeding and record keeping policies. We are AKC inspected and found compliant. We don't endeavor to make an impression on the masses or become the center of attention - but rather to just use a humble approach without hurting others while continuing successful breeding, good citizenship and fair showmanship. Above all we strive to only use the best ethics and kindness when dealing with people and dogs. - We also wish to be treated the same way. So, our first rule is the Golden Rule. Spirit Ranch is on the beautiful lakes of Oklahoma - in Native America (God's Country) Our babies are raised on fresh air, lots of mild weather with sunshine and love. They are usually born in my bedroom and run around underfoot in my kitchen. They are handled every day from birth day. We raise every single puppy as if it is a prized gift from above - which it is. Each one has it's own tiny life and personality and deserves to be treated with kindness, respect and love - for it's entire life. Therefore we do very limited breeding and but occasionally have babies available to the public. Breeding Champion, group placing and even top ten Cresteds. I have handled, owned, bred and finished many champion dogs. I am including a webpage for some of the wonderful dogs I had the privilege of owning or breeding and finishing to their Championships. Our Policies We breed to produce our own show dogs but we do place show prospects, companion puppies and adults in approved homes occasionally. Feel free to email us if you are interested in adopting a show dog or puppy. Show and pet puppies go to approved homes with a contract while pet/companion puppies must be spayed or neutered. They will be then be appropriately registered with the American Kennel Club. All are health guaranteed. Our show puppies go on a show contract only. |
